01. Music App Redesign
“It seems like every great designer has redesigned a music player at some point or another, so I figured I might as well give it a shot.”
With limited time, and a colorful palette, I wanted to create something visually appealing, that would catch eyes on the App Store. I decided that a somewhat minimalistic look paired with highly saturated red tones would be the way to achieve this. This project was finished in just a few days, then after some helpful feedback, more adjustments were made.
02. Heads
The heads are a set of colorful portraits I designed in my spare time over the past year. I continue to create new heads when I get the chance. They are a simple and fun way for me to keep myself creating at all times.
03. Origami Studio
“A new tool for designing modern interfaces, built and used by designers at Facebook.” - Origami Team
As a prototyping tool, Origami always caught my eye. Although it has a reputation of having a stiff learning curve, I really wanted to get some experience with the program. The two animations below were my first experiences with it, so I decided to create two small micro-interactions.
The first is a simple menu/escape animation (which i'll be implementing into this website as soon as I get the chance!). I really liked how smooth it turned out.
The second screen below is another small interaction idea. I wanted to play around with the bounciness of it to get something that turned out light and fluid.
The patches screen (pictured below) allows for a very visual prototyping experience. The patch system creates an elegant editing experience that feels a bit mathematical and calculated, but also does a great job of keeping things organized.
04. To Be Continued...
Ill be expanding this portfolio as my skills and experiences grow.
